The 9th annual Isabella Santos Foundation 5K/10K Race For Kids Cancer and 1-Mile Fun Run will take place in Ballantyne Corporate Park, Saturday, September 24, 2016 and will start at 8 am.
We had such an outstanding turnout last year with over 3,000 participants and we raised over $300,000, allowing us to hit the $1,000,000 mark over the life of the foundation.
The popular Kids Zone and 1-Mile Fun Run will be back and better than ever! There will be food, plenty of kids’ activities and a DJ...so don't leave right after you cross the finish line!
For this year’s 5K/10K, we want to paint the town PURPLE again! We want to see your craziest, zaniest, most purpilicious gear on race day. Wear everything purple. Purple knee high socks, purple tutus, purple wigs, purple painted faces. If you can dream it up, we want to see it. We want to be jogging along, look up, and see a sea of purple. Show the world that YOU support finding a cure for pediatric cancer and that you are one of Isabella’s Purple Warriors. We can’t wait to see your cute purple selves on race day!
We are overwhelmed by the community support and love each year and hope that you continue to fight the battle against Neuroblastoma with us!
We will have a silent auction and raffle again this year and the donations have already been pouring in! Vacation packages, sporting event tickets, and gift cards, just to name a few!
***Purchase your raffle tickets online when you register for the race!
Your generous support and donations allow the Isabella Santos Foundation to support Neuroblastoma research and organizations such as The Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte, The Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Levine Children's Hospital. The Foundation also assists struggling families in the Charlotte community affected by childhood cancer. Thank you for your help and support!
